All the cities I recently went to, the places I enjoyed most, were projects that were initiated by neighbors, designed for everyone's participation to make the neighborhood more livable. A project like this is Klunkerkranich in Berlin. Apart from cultural events and urban gardening, the best thing is the view over the city including the TV tower!

Although Hong Kong, like every big city, has a great variety of food from everywhere in the world, Hong Kong's speciality is the Street Food. Here are my five personal favorites!
Carrots have been used in sweet cakes since the Middle Ages when sweeteners were a costly good. Down to the present day, this cake should be included in the repertoire of every baker. Moist and juicy - and not only for easter - this cake is a delight! Instead of flour, I used rusk bread. The cake can be prepared lactose- and gluten-free without much effort.
It's one of those moments when your expectations are really low ... and you leave the place surprised and inspired. I was getting a rideshare from someone with a single review of 3/5 stars that didn't even contain a comment, and didn't know what to expect ... until I met my driver! :)
A mix of the best: A banana peanutbutter milk shake stuffed in an equally awesome chocolate cake. Why you have to try it? It tastes wonderfully juicy, chocolaty and laxly. The recipe is simple and quickly made. Furthermore, this is an excellent way to utilize your overripe bananas, which help the cake to get its banana-ish aroma.
